Over the past months, COREnext has advanced a number of demonstrations showcasing how its architectural framework and digital components can support the development of secure, adaptable and high-performance communication systems. From trust-aware IoT management to resource-optimised network services, these demonstrations illustrate the practical application of COREnext technologies and highlight the progress being made across the project’s technical work.

In this issue, readers will also find an overview of the latest scientific publications produced by the consortium, offering further insight into the research directions, experimental findings and methodologies shaping the project’s outcomes.

In this edition, we are pleased to share highlights of the COREnext project’s active participation at European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2025, where our partners contributed through workshops, demonstrations, and scientific exchanges that underline the project’s commitment to advancing high-frequency communication and computing technologies.

Alongside these event activities, we also feature a selection of recent scientific publications from our consortium members. These works span topics from secure execution environments and mobile network evolution to adaptive processing for non-terrestrial communication and scalable synchronisation in manycore systems. In this special edition, we bring you a full recap of COREnext’s presence at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025 in Poznań, where the project showcased its progress in trustworthy and secure next-generation network technologies. From a high-traffic exhibition booth to live demonstrations and expert exchanges, COREnext presented six technological showcases addressing architecture, security, and interoperability challenges in wireless communication.
